Find a Job in Canada Through MOSAIC’s FREE Online Job Search

MOSAIC is offering a Settlement Online Pre-Arrival program (SOPA) in partnership with the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia.  The program is for newcomers who are approved, or in the process of applying to immigrate to Canada and plan on settling in British Columbia. By participating in SOPA, immigrants will arrive in Canada better prepared, more confident, and able to enter the workforce sooner. For further information click here.

MOSAIC has provided assistance to new immigrants settling in Metro Vancouver for over 35 years.  The multi-lingual, non-profit organization is dedicated to assisting newcomers to fully participate in Canadian society.

Employment Programs

MOSAIC specializes in employment services. We work with a broad range of employers in sectors including Health, IT, Finance, Business, Administration, Retail, Hospitality, Trades and Skills and more. Our strong association with employers provides benefits to clients in areas such as mentorships, networking and job opportunities.

We also provide help in assessing how clients’ skills, education and training can be applied to the Canadian job market and can assist in re-training or obtaining certification as necessary to help find employment.

English Language Programs

MOSAIC offers unlimited free classes for qualified newcomers in Vancouver, Burnaby, and North Vancouver.  All MOSAIC classes offer an Online component, so students can access course materials at home from their computer or mobile device.

Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) is offered at a wide range of levels from complete beginner to advanced.  The programs are funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).

MOSAIC offers free childcare services for eligible students.

English for Work Program

MOSAIC English for Work program combines classroom and online learning. English for Work (EFW) is a free LINC Language course. MOSAIC EFW classes are for students at LINC Levels 5, 6, and 7. Continue reading
